Meet Dr. Irwin
Dr. Irwin Mulnick is a Chiropractic Physician and Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, serving McCall and the surrounding communities. He has been providing pain relief and natural wellness care in Idaho since 1990. As a Chiropractor with decades of experience, Dr. Mulnick is committed to promoting the optimal health and well being of his patients, using a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of ill-health or "dis-ease", and then making whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this integrative approach, the doctor is able to help the patient to accelerate their healing time and maintain their journey to better health.
In addition to the individual specialties of the doctor, he employs a focus on nutrition and the other factors that influence whole body wellness. As blood work-ups are a great internal map of what is going on in the body, the doctor utilizes this information along with current symptoms, detailed history and physical examinations to individualize treatment programs for the patients well-being and health. The doctor works with the patient and their primary physicians to offer the best care for the patient to reach their health goals and optimal health.
Dr. Irwin Mulnick graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Biology before graduating from Western States Chiropractic College in 1986. Years ago he competed in the game of Ultimate Frisbee and was on teams that won the US National and World Championships in the Masters division (over 35), and competed on Open Division teams that went to the US National Championships 3 times. His love of being active and playing sports, as well as working with athletes, led him to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) in 1996. In addition to working with athletes and sports injuries, Dr. Irwin treats many patients that have been injured in auto accidents and on-the-job injuries.
Since moving to McCall, Dr. Irwin has been very involved in the community as a soccer coach in the youth program and helped start and maintain an outdoor ice skating rink. He has served on a variety of local organizations including the McCall Parks and Rec and Central Idaho Mountain Biking Association (CIMBA). Recreationally he prefers being outdoors either powder skiing, skate skiing, mountain or road biking, hiking, ice skating on or swimming in Payette Lake.
His 2 children, their families and his granddaughter are the loves of his life, in addition to his new puppy Lady Gaga. He passionately enjoys music and plays guitar and ukulele and performs in a local band, Open Range.
